Since 1979, The Hills Montessori School has grown from a community-based preschool to a thriving early childhood education provider for children aged 15 months to 6 years. Rooted in the Montessori philosophy and guided by the NSW Education Standards Authority curriculum, the school is dedicated to nurturing each child’s unique strengths, interests, and potential.

Leadership Space was engaged to support the School and its Board in shaping a clear Theory of Change and Strategic Framework. The aim: to secure the long-term excellence, sustainability, and distinctiveness of the school’s Montessori approach.

Through a highly engaged process, the leadership team explored how to remain agile and responsive in delivering quality Montessori education, build strong succession pathways for staff and Board, ensure financial and talent sustainability, and better articulate the value of Montessori to current and prospective families.

Leadership Space facilitated the development of a 10-year vision for Hills Montessori and defined the strategic priorities and success indicators needed to sustain and grow their impact.
