Environmental Justice Australia’s Co-CEOs Nicola Rivers and Elizabeth McKinnon recognised the importance of investing in EJA’s leadership team and culture to match the organisation’s significant growth in their work that used the law to protect nature and communities.
The Co-CEOs engaged Leadership Space to support the leadership team to build cohesion, leadership capability and influence.
Through the course of this program of work, Leadership Space worked closely with EJA using a combination of Lumina Spark profiling, team coaching, facilitated conversations, and experiential design to help the team reflect with greater candour and collective intelligence on their leadership identity and impact.
As a result of this work, the EJA leadership team deepened its trust and unity with each other, as they worked together to foster a strong values-aligned culture within EJA while leading the organisation to deliver its ambitious goals.
“Leadership Space created an environment for us to reflect together as a leadership team that we couldn’t have done for ourselves. We were able to explore our leadership challenges, surface new ways of thinking that progressed us forward while also staying connected to our values.”
– Nicola Rivers, Co-CEO
