Capacity Building Research

The ripple effect works

Can you invest in leaders and teams and see sustainable, visible impact for the whole organisation?

This is a critical question and is at the heart of our work. With our first round of impact research now off the press, it is affirming and energising to hear what the leaders and teams we work with are saying. As just one example:

  • 85% report they’re having more robust and respectful conversations organisation-wide

It seems that our approach and methodology is in fact embedding and spreading that value effectively. As one leader Dr Emma Fulu of The Equality Institute eloquently put it “Our whole organisation is in a stronger and more connected place because of the work”.

Beyond the individual organisational impact is another statistic that speaks to our aim and purpose:

  • 92% say they’re better able to work collaboratively with stakeholders

For the funders, industry bodies and investors in the sector this is significant. The inner, relational, and functional work we are doing is rippling out beyond the borders of organisations and is laying the foundations for greater collaboration across the sector generally. Our Theory of Change is holding.

These changes are ones for us all to celebrate. They have been created together—with courageous leaders and teams who are willing to show up, reflect, and build something better.

If you’re interested in sector capacity building, we’re out listening and talking about this with others that care, and would love to explore your thoughts.
