Leadership development done differently

One of the most humbling experiences we’ve had in the last year is large organisations and institutions approaching us to design and deliver their leadership development programs.

We’ve sought to really understand what has them moving away from other providers (often big names) and towards us. What we’ve heard is a beautiful reminder to every leader who is working on their integrity and needs a reminder to stay the course.

  • What we’ve heard is that what has set us apart is that we are really listening. Not to confirm that we already know the answer on something generic or pre-cooked. We’ve listened to understand their need and context. We’re practicing what we preach about listening driving meaningful relationships.
  • Another theme has been around psychological safety and modelling. Participants have shared how the way we relate to each other as co-facilitators and with them as participants has established the conditions for vulnerability with us and each other, creating communities of learning, depth and openness in real time.
  • And lastly the call for practical learning. Helping people to bring real conversations, coach each other, and become better managers and leaders not as some theoretical concept but through peer-based experiential practice.

As we are reminded again of the value of presence, trusting that you are bringing and doing enough and building one real relationship at a time, we hope that you are too.

If you know someone that would benefit from leadership development done differently, let us know. We can confidently say we know our stuff when it comes to practical meaningful leadership programs 😊
