Nicola joined our team around two and a half years ago, after nearly two decades of friendship with Elise, and many ambling conversations about how “one day” they might find themselves working together.
Like Elise, Nicola has a passion and grounding in social purpose organisations, a consulting background and coaching and facilitation as the core skills and practice areas.
Perhaps because of this strong alignment, Nicola joining the team has felt almost seamless. From the get-go, the team has felt the deep valuing Nicola has of what she is joining and the way she brings that to bear in warmth, generosity and deep listening.
Both clients and the team are constantly struck by what one called her “searingly insightful observation”. Always delivered with kindness, Nicola has rigour, intellect and an ability to listen and observe deeply and then articulate with precision. Often with creativity in metaphor or analogy, or with a wide smile and humour.
The other word that comes up a lot when people are asked about Nicola is ‘connectedness’. She is grounded, connected to her values, health, family and living well. We also love and celebrate her adventurer spirit – if she’s not at her desk, you can find her skiing in the Alps, sailing boats in NZ, or swimming with the turtles in Hawaii!
