Backing the Potential of our People and Culture leads

Last year we recognised the importance of investing in a critical cohort of executives in our sector – the leaders of our People and Culture functions. After two intense years of supporting the health and wellbeing of staff through COVID, as well as navigating restructures, all while building weak or missing Human Resources infrastructure, we noticed that amongst our clients, these were people who could really do with some love and support.

That’s why we launched a specially designed version of our Leaders by the Fireside program – to give these resilient but tired executives an intimate learning and networking experience. It provided an opportunity for peer coaching on topics that were deeply relevant and meaningful to them. What did they focus on?

  • Health and wellbeing
  • Influencing & coaching the Executive Team
  • Dealing with conflict
  • Tackling attrition
  • Thriving through change

Being with a cohort of like-minded peers was powerful.  They felt refreshed and recharged, with space to think and compare experiences. Half the group decided to continue, and so in November 2023 we are excited to kick off our next program.

What is interesting to note is that this cohort reflect a different mood and tone. Their focus is on fast adaptive, best practice learning, and keeping across sector wide trends.
